Hidden Crush, Central Coast
The best kept secret amongst winemakers is Hidden Crush Wines. Made from the finest grapes the Central Coast offers, these rich varietals are the perfect addition for any table. Aged in oak for six to nine months both the Cabernet Sauvignon and the Chardonnay offer a rich mouth feel and a lingering finish.
The Cab blushes with blackberries, currants, and plums with a hint of cedar and spice. This is one of our favorite pairings with grilled meats, savory sausages, and tomato based sauces. Tropical flavors with hints of citrus and green apples are what characterize the Chardonnay.
A glass of this goes great with a variety of cheese or any cream based pasta sauce.
Kloster Andechs Doppelbock Dunkel
Oktoberfest is over but that doesn’t mean you can’t continue to drink great German Beer. Kloster Andechs Doppelbock Dunkel is just the ticket. This monastery brew was founded atop Bavaria’s Holy Mountain in 1455. The Benedictine beer has a dark copper color and a soft roasted aroma with hints of dried fruit and caramel.
A robust beer perfect for the evening meal and the last beer of the day. Expect Angelic visitations!
