This past weekend, The Cork and More catered a wedding out at Fallen Leaf Lake! The wedding guests came from all around the country. Most came all the way from Mississippi! A Fallen Leaf Lake Wedding is always one to remember. The happy couple had a beautiful ceremony in the chapel, at the back of the lake.

After the wedding everyone headed down to the Lake House. Each house around Fallen Leaf Lake is built to be uniquely different. The Lake House we catered at had three houses on the property, a horseshoe pit, volleyball court, a private dock, and enough room for over 200 wedding guests to party all night long. With four bars set up on the property, The Cork and More had no problem supplying the beer, wine, and purchasing the alcohol for everyone to enjoy.

The guests started with appetizers prepared by The Cork and More. Each appetizer had a southern feel. There was shrimp cocktails, deviled eggs, and cream cheese crab bites. With over 200 guests it was going to be trouble getting everyone to walk to the dinner table and be seated. The groom of the wedding fixed the issue with a 15 pound cast iron triangle. We rang the bell, announced that dinner was served, and watched everyone walk to the dinner area to take a seat. The quests then continued to dine on Southern Style Barbequed Chicken, Top Round Tri Tip, and Smoked Salmon. The side dishes were Classic Coleslaw and Dijon Potato Salad. Everything went so smoothly. The guests were a true pleasure to work for!

For Dessert everyone enjoyed cakes by The Cork and More. There were three different flavors; Lemon curd, Chocolate ganche,  and Raspberry Bavarian wedding cake. Everything was made fresh by the Cork and More. Many thanks to everyone who helped make this wedding go smoothly!
